Welcome to The Art Party Design
Biography
My name is Honestie Linnear and I own Art Party Design. I am a self-taught artist and began drawing at the age of seven years old. I began drawing our family pictures off the wall while my mother worked the night shift. Art became my therapy, my way of escaping into my creative reality. For many years I picked up a paintbrush to explore and imagine a place that I created. I enjoy the process of creating something from pure emotion.
Abstraction literally means the distancing of an idea from objective referents. That means, in the visual arts, pulling a depiction away from any literal, representational reference points. You can also call abstract art nonrepresentational art.
Abstract art uses visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art.
Today my art is my abstract expression of my life experiences and they are original and unique pieces that bring life to any space. Small capsules of lessons learned, life detours, small circular burst of celebrations, and even trials and tribulations that turn into positive energy.
